Intro
What I found most intriguing from this video was more in depth detail on how the Ai would move and follow the payer as well as how to create the glowing effect from materials. These where mainly covered in the enemy creation video and the projectile creation video. THough throughout this tutorial I was not as pleased in the level design, though this is mainly do to this being focused on teh hsooter aspect than the level creation.
Role: Level Designer/Puzzle Designer/ Material Creator
I will mostly likely get one of these roles which we discussed in our group. If I get into the role of Level designer I intend to try to use the glowing material as lights as well as a way to guide the player through a place that is somewhat dim. I felt it would serve a purpose in a different way then how the video intended on how we were going to use it. Additionally I might use the Ai system to cause enemies to appear in certain areas, possibly come at the player in hoards or ambush's. If its for the role of material designer, I feel I could also use the material for uses such as indicating danger or showing places of interest.
